Roberta Trahan is a writer, editor, instructor and marketing consultant in the Seattle area.  

Words have been her way of life from the moment she could read and write—from her first nationally published work as a teenager throughout her entire career. 

Roberta offers more than 20 years professional experience in communications to writers and publishers all over the country.  Her expertise ranges from newspaper journalism to advertising, marketing, media relations, corporate & retail sales, event promotion, and publicity.    

She serves as Vice President & Program Chair for The Seattle Free Lances, the oldest professional writers organization in Washington, and serves on the Advisory Board for the Fine Writing Program at Edmonds Community College. She is also a writing instructor at Bellevue Community College and a presenter at various conferences and industry events. An active supporter of writers organizations, Roberta is a member of the Pacific Northwest Writers Association, The Willamette Writers, The Seattle Free Lances and many others. 

Roberta is also an aspiring novelist.
